Explore the Program

Exploration inside the classroom and around the world.

In addition to classroom studies, students participate in a variety of cocurricular activities—from invitation-only briefings at the United Nations, to guest lectures with global leaders, theatre performances, cultural excursions and museum visits in New York City and grassroots community work.

Through our special relationship with the United Nations, you’ll gain an inside look at international affairs and observe firsthand the U.N. at work in conferences, summits, youth assemblies and presentations by officials, diplomats and more.

You can attend a range of programs and workshops as well as receive individualized guidance and mentorship through leadership training.  You can also represent your class and voice your concerns as you plan and lead service projects and social activities, advocate for student interests, and mobilize students to become involved in the LGS Student Leadership Council.
